Today, Shadow Chief Minister Lia Finocchiaro briefed the government on the CLP’s Fuel Price Disclosure Bill 2022.
The Opposition is now calling on the government to support the Bill to drive down fuel prices and increase competition.
The CLP’s Bill aims to:
- Drive down fuel prices by forcing profit disclosure
- Increase competition in our small, concentrated fuel market
- Ease cost of living pressures on businesses and families
- Legislate recommendations made by the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) in 2015
