The Fyles Labor government is ushering in a new era of totalitarianism for the Territory, according to Leader of the Opposition Lia Finocchiaro.
The Labor government once again silenced criticism of their many failures by shutting down a censure motion in Parliament today.
Mrs Finocchiaro said silencing critics and controlling speech were indications of a desperate government embracing the iron fist of totalitarian control.
“Labor has no respect for the people, the parliament, freedom of speech, or democracy,” she said.
“Every time Labor shuts us down in parliament, they are actually shutting Territorians down.”
