Today Natasha Fyles came into Parliament and made the establishment of a select committee into vaping her highest priority of the day. The CLP then spoke to its motion to establish an urgent Police Inquiry.

Mrs Finocchiaro said, “Natasha Fyles again, like she did on the Vote of No Confidence moved to gagged debate on the Police Inquiry. Her Government then almost lost that vote with 11 members siding with the CLP to continue the debate and only 12 standing with her.”

“Natasha Fyles not only failed to bring bail reform into Parliament this morning but her government also voted down a Police Inquiry to strengthen our police force in the face of high rates of crime. “Her press conference this morning was an exercise in saving face not saving lives,” she said.
